Monday... woke up sore but ended well

I was going to run this morning, but was too sore upon rising... Had to do childcare for CF so I watched the WOD- seemed easy enough so I did a variation at home:

Looked something like this-

400m run

10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1

Dumbbell Push-press (45lbs/25lbs)- didn't have dumbbell's at home so used Buddha sculptures:)

Push-ups (knees- arms were toooo sore)

Squats

400m run

For time- didn't keep time, was trying to keep it very low key!

(Run at the very beginning and the very end only.)

Seemed pretty easy, but will probably be quite sore in the morning... Day two of Vega and really happy with the results- hunger monster seems to be disappearing!

Pull up pain

Went for a run this morning- just an easy 2 miles that ended up feeling like I had 25 lbs. strapped to me (9 minute miles). My muscle soreness from yesterday is so painful- I'm hoping for relief tomorrow. I'm really impressed that some people do this everyday. I thought running was hard. The WOD Sat. was 30 sec. on 30 sec. off 8 ft. wall balls, 20" box jumps, and pull ups- 3 rounds. Not much running so I am suffering. My total was 121- not bad at all...

Had a smoothie this afternoon that definitely helped with the hunger. I weighed 118 this morning- up 5 lbs. since this all began...

End of week 5 (make-up from Tues)

Today was my first day of Vega health optimizer and I was impressed with how good it was, the quality of the protein and amino acid profile, as well as it's sticking power... it felt good to not be so hungry before dinner:)

So today we finished week 5, our next to last on ramp and I am sure this is going to be good. I am a little disappointed that I still can't do more than one pull up unassisted... in time I guess. I am certainly feeling stronger, which is super cool for a little girl like me, but the never ending hunger is beginning to be annoying. Still finishing each day with some chocolate soy ice cream.
